Phase Two has been too good!
Gratitude to the people across India who have voted today. The unparalleled support for NDA is going to disappoint the Opposition even more. Voters want NDA’s good governance. Youth and women voters are powering the strong NDA support.

PM Modi’s remarks came during his visit to Bihar, Bengal, and Uttar Pradesh, where he held a roadshow to engage with the public amidst the ongoing election process.
According to voter turnout percentages reported until 5 pm, Tripura witnessed the highest participation at 77.53%, while Uttar Pradesh recorded the lowest turnout at 52.74%. The second phase of voting covered 88 constituencies across 12 states and Union territories.
Specific turnout figures until 5 pm were as follows: Manipur 76.06%, West Bengal 71.84%, Chhattisgarh 72.13%, Assam 70.66%, Maharashtra 53.51%, Bihar 53.03%, Madhya Pradesh 54.83%, Rajasthan 59.19%, Kerala 63.97%, Karnataka 63.90%, and Jammu and Kashmir 67.22%.
As the nation participated in the second phase of polling, the Supreme Court dismissed petitions seeking complete cross-verification of votes cast using Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) with Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT). PM Modi regarded the verdict as a rebuke to the Congress-led opposition and called for an apology for spreading distrust against EVMs.
PM Modi, while addressing a gathering in Bihar, highlighted past electoral malpractices such as booth capture, particularly targeting the poor, backward classes, and Dalits.
He credited the introduction of EVMs for curbing such practices and accused opposition parties of attempting to sow doubt about the reliability of EVMs. Modi emphasized that the Supreme Court’s verdict was a significant blow to these parties.
With five more phases of polling remaining and the counting of votes scheduled for June 4, the ongoing Lok Sabha elections continue to draw attention from across the country.
