In a speech at an election rally in Bilari, Moradabad, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath aimed the opposition India bloc, particularly the Congress party, accusing them of advocating policies detrimental to Bharatiya values and interests.
Adityanath lambasted the opposition for purportedly advocating the freedom to slaughter cows, a practice considered sacred by many in Bharat. He warned against what he sees as the opposition’s intentions to permit cow slaughter, contrasting it with the reverence given to cows in Hindu scriptures.
Moreover, Adityanath alleged that Congress aims to seize properties from Bharatiya citizens and redistribute them among Rohingya and Bangladeshi immigrants. He criticized Congress’s supposed proposal to confiscate properties, including women’s jewelry, suggesting a divisive agenda.
CM Yogi also accused Congress of attempting to undermine the reservations for marginalized communities such as Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC).
He referenced previous committees and their recommendations, claiming that Congress seeks to allocate a portion of the backward caste reservation to Muslims.
Adityanath took a swipe at Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, alleging a dual character in their stance on Ayodhya. He criticized their past denial of Lord Ram’s existence and questioned their sincerity in claiming Ram’s universality.
Appealing to voters, Adityanath urged them to support a government committed to Bharatiya values, self-reliance, and development. He emphasized the need for a government that prioritizes the prosperity and future of the nation’s youth.
Since the formation of the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh, Adityanath asserted that rioters have been met with consequences, highlighting the government’s firm stance on law and order.
The rally was attended by BJP’s Lok Sabha candidate Parmeshwar Lal Saini, party officials, and supporters.
Adityanath’s speech reflects the intensifying political rhetoric ahead of elections, with both sides presenting starkly different visions for the future of Bharat.
