In the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, Pranav Adani, the Managing Director (Agro, Oil and Gas) of Adani Group, along with his family, exercised their voting rights during the third phase.

In a statement shared on X, Pranav Adani noted the significance of Bharat’s democratic process, highlighting that each vote holds importance in showcasing the nation’s diversity and unity. He urged all citizens to fulfill their constitutional duty and make their voices heard through voting.

India's elections aren't just the world's largest. They are a remarkable showcase of diversity and unity, where every vote counts. I just voted, fulfilling my constitutional duty. Now it's your turn! Make your voice heard. Cast your vote. #Elections2024 pic.twitter.com/atlIBzX56V

Earlier, Gautam Adani, the chairman of Adani Group, also participated in the democratic process by casting his vote at a polling booth in Mahmadpura Primary School, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Speaking to reporters afterward, Gautam Adani expressed optimism about Bharat’s progress, urging citizens to actively participate in the election, which he described as a “great festival of democracy.”

Proud to have voted with my family today. Voting is a right, a privilege and a responsibility we all share as citizens of this great nation. Every vote is a powerful voice in our democracy. Cast your vote for shaping the future of India. Jai Hind. pic.twitter.com/nMAfAhQEdD

The third phase of the Lok Sabha elections witnessed polling across 12 states and union territories, covering 93 Lok Sabha seats. These include Assam (4), Bihar (5), Chhattisgarh (7), Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu (2), Goa (2), Gujarat (25), Karnataka (14), Maharashtra (11), Madhya Pradesh (8), Uttar Pradesh (10), and West Bengal (4). Notably, the Surat seat was won uncontested by the BJP.

Over 1300 candidates, including approximately 120 women, are contesting in this phase of the elections.

However, voting for the Anantnag-Rajouri Lok Sabha seat in Jammu and Kashmir has been postponed to the sixth phase due to security concerns, with the polling now scheduled for May 25.

The Lok Sabha elections, spanning seven phases from April 19 to June 1, will determine the composition of the 543-member lower house of the Bharatiya Parliament. The votes will be counted on June 4, marking the end of this extensive democratic exercise.

The participation of Adani Group leaders Pranav Adani and Gautam Adani underscores the importance of citizen engagement in the democratic process and encourages voters to exercise their right to vote for shaping the future of Bharat.
