DCP (outer) Jimmy Chiram echoed these sentiments, confirming the absence of any threats at Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital in Mangolpuri after a detailed search.
The initial call to fire officials came in at 3:15 pm from Burari Hospital, followed by another call at 4:26 pm from Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital. As investigations continue, authorities are working diligently to ensure the safety and security of both hospital premises.
These bomb threats come in the wake of similar incidents targeting schools in Delhi and Ahmedabad in the preceding weeks. Despite causing widespread concern, these threats were later deemed hoaxes by authorities.
Responding to the Delhi schools bomb scare, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) issued a statement categorizing the emails as hoaxes. Reassuring the public, the MHA emphasized that security agencies and Delhi Police were taking necessary steps to address the situation according to established protocols.
