In a significant diplomatic gesture, Xu Feihong, the newly-appointed Chinese Ambassador to India, officially handed over the working copy of his Letter of Credence to Rohit Rathish, the acting Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of External Affairs. The ceremony took place on Tuesday at Jawaharlal Nehru Bhawan.

Xu Feihong, who arrived in New Delhi on May 10, assumed his role as the 17th Chinese Ambassador to India, marking the end of an over 18-month gap since the departure of his predecessor, Sun Weidong, in October 2022.
