On being asked about the former DCW chairperson’s whereabouts Swati Maliwal’s mother said, ‘Swati is not in a condition to talk’. Maliwal has been untraceable ever since she accused Arvind Kejriwal’s PA, Bibhav Kumar of assault at the Chief Minister’s residence.
According to the media reports, Delhi Police have also intensified their efforts to reach out to Maliwal. As of now, two attempts have been made to contact her and besides, an officer of the ACP rank also visited her residence in the National Capital.
However, Maliwal was not found at either of her two registered addresses. As per the media reports, her mother said, ‘We are not in a state to talk’ on being asked if Swati Maliwal is being threatened. Swati’s mother added, ‘I am not well and she is not in a state to talk’.
The family’s decision not to file a police complaint and their abrupt departure from the police station raised questions, to which Swati’s mother responded by thanking the media. She said, ‘I am thankful to the media for supporting us in our tough times’.

Meanwhile Swati Maliwal’s ex-husband Jaihind demanded FIR against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal as she was assaulted at the CM residence. He called CM’s residence gutter house and alleged that Swati is being silenced by the party leaders. Naveen Jaihind said that Swati Maliwal’s life is in danger, requesting her to speak up.
Swati Maliwal was assaulted at the residence of Chief Minister Kejriwal in the national capital on Monday by Bibhav Kumar, after which she called up the Delhi Police. Naveen Jaihind said, ‘You call that CM House, that is actually a gutter house. This is a dangerous incident. It is a huge scandal. FIR should be lodged against Arvind Kejriwal because this happened at his home’.
