Union Home Minister Amit Shah, speaking at an election rally in Jhansi, confidently predicted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on track to secure a third term in office. He emphasized that Modi has already acquired 270 seats in the last four election phases, moving steadily towards another victory.
Shah contrasted Modi’s success with the performance of the opposition INDI Alliance, led by Rahul Gandhi, which he claimed has been wiped out.
Shah highlighted Modi’s humble beginnings, contrasting them with those of Rahul Gandhi. He reminded the audience that Modi was born to a poor tea seller’s family and has worked tirelessly for the last 23 years, even spending Diwali with soldiers on the border. In contrast, he described Rahul Gandhi as someone “born with a silver spoon.”
Ram Temple and Opposition’s Obstruction
The Home Minister criticized opposition parties, particularly the Congress and the Samajwadi Party, for obstructing the construction of the Ram Temple for decades.
Shah praised Modi for fulfilling the promise of building the temple, highlighting that it was Modi who won the legal battle, laid the foundation, and consecrated the temple.
Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) Issue
Shah also brought up the Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) issue, accusing Congress of being too afraid to address it. He mentioned that Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar advised against discussing PoK due to Pakistan’s possession of atomic bombs.
Shah reassured the people that under Modi’s leadership, Bharat is not afraid and remains committed to reclaiming PoK.
In addition, Shah criticized political dynasties, naming leaders like Lalu Prasad Yadav, Uddhav Thackeray, and Sharad Pawar as examples of politicians who prioritize their family’s interests over the country’s youth. He asserted that only Modi can secure a bright future for the youth of Bharat.
Amit Shah portrayed Modi as a tireless, dedicated leader from a modest background who has delivered on major promises and stands firm on national issues, contrasting sharply with the opposition parties’ alleged failures and self-serving politics.
