Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a fervent appeal to voters in New Delhi’s Mayur Vihar, bolstering support for the Modi-led government as the capital gears up for Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing a public rally, Adityanath emphasized the widespread resonance of the slogan, ‘Phir ek baar, Modi sarkaar; Abki baar, Modi Sarkar.’
Asserting the significance of the upcoming sixth phase of elections in Delhi, Adityanath reiterated the singular chant dominating the nation, emphasizing the need for voters to exercise their rights. He stressed that the prevailing sentiment across Bharat is in favor of another term for the Modi government.

In a pointed jab at opposition parties, particularly Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Adityanath ridiculed their response to the BJP’s ambitious target of ‘400 paar.’ He suggested that the opposition’s discomfort stems from their inability to match the BJP’s momentum, quipping, “‘Jo Ram ko laye hai, ham unko layenge’ (Those who brought Ram, we will bring them).”
Turning attention to the contentious issue of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister criticized the opposition’s stance, alleging their disapproval of the temple’s construction. He highlighted the historic significance of the occasion, marking Ram Lalla’s birthday after 500 years, contrasting it with the opposition’s persistent resistance to the project.
Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure, Adityanath applauded the transformative changes witnessed under his leadership, citing advancements in various domains and a heightened global stature for Bharat. He commended Modi’s resolve in ensuring national security and tackling terrorism and Naxalism effectively.
Drawing a comparison between Delhi and neighboring areas like Ghaziabad and Noida, Adityanath lambasted AAP’s governance in the capital, labeling it as subpar. He contrasted the alleged neglect of cleanliness and basic services in Delhi with the progress witnessed under BJP leadership in adjacent regions, portraying them as havens of development and prosperity.
With Delhi’s Lok Sabha elections scheduled for May 25, Adityanath’s impassioned address underscores the intensified campaign efforts by the ruling BJP to secure victory in the capital and maintain its stronghold on the national political landscape.
