In the early hours of Friday, a devastating collision between a truck and a mini-bus on the Ambala-Delhi-Jammu National Highway claimed the lives of at least seven people and left nearly 25 others injured.

The accident occurred as the mini-bus, carrying a group of pilgrims en route to Vaishno Devi, was struck by a truck. The victims included seven members of the same family, who were among those killed in the tragic incident.
A survivor recounted that the driver of the truck appeared to be intoxicated and fled the scene immediately after the crash. The passengers, all from the same family, were reportedly asleep at the time of the collision.
Authorities are investigating the incident, and efforts are underway to apprehend the truck driver. The injured have been transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
