Today in Court | CM Kejriwal’s PA Sent to Judicial Custody for Assault on MP Swati Maliwal

Sridev Suman, born on May 25, 1916, in Tehri, Garhwal, is a revered freedom fighter known for his resistance against the oppressive Tehri monarchy. Often compared to Bhagat Singh, Suman was imprisoned in 1943 for his efforts to establish Prajamandal, a people's organization.

CM Arvind Kejriwal’s PA, Bibhav Kumar, has been sent to judicial custody for four days by Tis Hazari Court in connection with the assault on Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal. The court accepted the police’s request to place Kumar in judicial custody until May 28, instead of police custody. The government lawyer indicated that they might request police remand again if needed.
