A devastating fire broke out at the TRP Game Zone in Rajkot, Gujarat, on Saturday, resulting in the deaths of at least 20 people. The fire engulfed the entire facility, trapping several people, including children.
Four fire brigade vehicles were dispatched to the scene to control the blaze and rescue those trapped inside. Efforts to extinguish the fire and rescue individuals are still ongoing. Visuals from the site show firefighters and officials working tirelessly to manage the situation.

Police and Official Statements
Rajkot Police Commissioner Raju Bhargava confirmed the recovery of around 20 bodies, which have been sent to the hospital for further examination. He stated, “We are trying to retrieve as many bodies as possible. As of now, around 20 bodies have been recovered, and they have been sent to the hospital for further investigation. Investigations will be carried out.”

The gaming zone is owned by Yuvraj Singh Solanki. Police have indicated that they will register an offense for negligence and the deaths that occurred. “Further investigation will take place once we complete the rescue operations here,” added Commissioner Bhargava.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has instructed authorities to prioritize immediate treatment for the injured. In a tweet, he said, “Instructions have been given to the Municipal Corporation and the administration for immediate rescue and relief operations in the fire incident in the game zone in Rajkot.”
Fire officer IV Kher mentioned that the operation faced difficulties due to wind and the collapse of the temporary structure. “The reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained. The attempts to douse the fire are underway. We have not received any message of missing persons. We are facing difficulty in the firefighting operation because the temporary structure has collapsed and due to wind velocity,” Kher stated.
