As the fight rages on in the Gaza Strip, the Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah has issued a fresh round of threats to Israel prompting a brave retaliatory remark from PM Netanyahu. Days after Houthis targeted 3 Israeli ships, Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah during a televised address on Sunday warned Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu of “more surprises” like the one on October 7, last year, when the Hamas terrorist group launched a fatal attack on Israeli soil, killing thousands. While Houthis have been disrupting maritime security by attacking the Red Sea, Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean, ever since the war was initiated by the terrorist group on October 7, in a show of similar support for Hamas, the Hezbollah group from Lebanon launched firing at Israel from the northern border.
The threatening remark came a day after Iran-backed Yemen’s Houthi group, which is supporting Hamas, announced that the group had launched attacks on three ships in the Red Sea and Indian Ocean. Vowing to continue the attacks until Israel stops its war in the Gaza Strip, the Houthi group’s leader Yahya Sarea had stated that the group also launched drone attacks against “two US warships in the Red Sea, and the hits were accurate.” Meanwhile, the next day, Hamas launched a “big missile attack” on Tel Aviv after launching a barrage of rockets from Gaza, sounding sirens in the Israeli city.
