The Israeli Foreign Ministry shared on Saturday that four individuals, who have been held captive by Hamas in Gaza since October 7, have been successfully rescued. The operation took place in Nuseirat, a region in the central Gaza Strip, and involved coordination between the Israel Defence Forces (IDF), Israel Security Agency (ISA), and Israel Police.
The hostages, identified as Noa Argamani (25), Almog Meir Jan (21), Andrey Kozlov (27), and Shlomi Ziv (40), were taken during the ‘Nova’ music festival. The joint statement highlighted the complexity of the mission, indicating the involvement of specialized forces from IDF, ISA, and the Yamam unit of Israel Police.
Following their rescue, all four hostages were reported to be in good medical condition. They were promptly transferred to the ‘Sheba’ Tel-HaShomer Medical Center for further examination and care. The Israeli Foreign Ministry reiterated its commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of its citizens, emphasizing ongoing efforts to bring back any remaining hostages.
