In preparation for the formation of the new government, senior BJP leaders, including Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh, along with party president JP Nadda, have been in discussions with allies. These allies include N Chandrababu Naidu of the Telugu Desam Party, Nitish Kumar of JD(U), and Eknath Shinde of the Shiv Sena. They are working together to finalize the representation of these allies in the new government.
The swearing-in ceremony will be broadcast live on all national television news channels at 7:15 pm on Sunday. In addition, public service broadcaster Doordarshan will provide live coverage on TV and its YouTube channel. The event will also be streamed on the YouTube channel and X account of the President of Bharat.
The newly-formed NDA government will announce the list of cabinet ministers tomorrow. Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh are expected to retain their positions in the new cabinet. Former chief ministers who have won the recent Lok Sabha polls, such as Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Basavaraj Bommai, Manohar Lal Khattar, and Sarbananda Sonowal, are strong contenders for cabinet positions.

Allies like Ram Mohan Naidu from the TDP, Lalan Singh, Sanjay Jha, and Ram Nath Thakur from JD(U), and Chirag Paswan from the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) are also expected to be part of the new government. Sources suggest that either Lalan Singh or Sanjay Jha will be accommodated from the JD(U) quota.
This swearing-in ceremony marks a significant moment in Bharatiya politics, as Narendra Modi begins his third term as Prime Minister, leading the NDA government with a new council of ministers.
