Recently in his remarks, RSS leader Indresh Kumar stirred controversy by linking the BJP’s Lok Sabha election performance to arrogance. Initially suggesting a connection between the BJP’s 240-seat victory and perceived arrogance, Kumar’s statement sparked a heated debate. However, he later appeared to backtrack on his comments amid criticism from Congress.
“The mood of the country is clear,” Kumar stated in a turnaround. “Those who opposed Lord Ram are now out of power, while those who upheld his glory in Ayodhya lead the government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.”
Kumar’s comments come in the wake of BJP’s victory in the elections, securing 240 seats but falling short of a simple majority. This outcome marked a shift as the BJP, for the first time under Modi’s leadership, relied on allies to form a coalition government in the Lok Sabha.

RSS leader Indresh Kumar stated, “The country’s atmosphere is crystal clear right now – those who opposed Lord Ram are out of power, and those who took the pledge of devotion towards Lord Ram are in power today and a government has been formed under the leadership of Narendra Modi for the third time. The country will make progress under his leadership – there is this trust among the people. We hope that this trust thrives.”
Indresh Kumar did not mince words when addressing opposition figures like Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal, who had made predictions regarding the election outcome. “Rahul Gandhi and Kejriwal made bold claims about BJP’s defeat and the rise of the INDIA bloc,” Kumar stated, referring to their statements before the election results were announced.
He continued, “Their political forecasts have been proven wrong. The people have chosen continuity with PM Modi and the BJP-led NDA coalition, affirming their faith in the leadership that respects and upholds the values represented by Lord Ram.”
Kumar’s remarks underscore the ongoing political dynamics in Bharat, where ideological differences and electoral strategies often clash. With BJP’s mandate and coalition governance now secured, the focus shifts to the government’s agenda and the challenges ahead in navigating national issues and aspirations.
Kumar emphasized, “The opportunity bestowed by the people and the divine is with PM Modi, BJP, and the NDA. It is now their responsibility to accelerate the nation’s progress and fulfill the aspirations of every citizen.”
