Humans spend their whole lives building, decorating, and nurturing their homes and families. But when they need them the most, in their old age, they are often abandoned by the very people to whom they devoted their lives. On this World Elderly Abuse Awareness Day, to know some such stories and explore the grim reality of elder abuse situation in our country, we went to Sheows Oldage Home Center in New Delhi which is working to save lives of the abandoned, needy, and homeless elderly in the country.
