Following a fierce gunfight in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district, security forces neutralised one terrorist, marking a significant development in the continuing efforts to limit terrorist operations in the region. This operation comes shortly after Home Minister Amit Shah’s held a thorough assessment of the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir, during which he stressed the need for strict measures to maintain peace and stability, such as area domination and zero-terror plans for both the Jammu division and the Kashmir Valley.
