Speaker Election Scheduled for June 26
The election for the Speaker of the Lok Sabha is slated for June 26, just two days after the commencement of the session. According to the Lok Sabha secretariat, members can submit notices of motions supporting candidates until 12 noon on June 25. This process marks a critical step in determining who will preside over the lower house of Bharat’s parliament during the current term.
