In Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, a bus accident occurred on Friday, resulting in the deaths of four people and injuries to three others. The accident involved a Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus and took place in the Jubbal area.
Among those who died were the bus driver, the conductor, a woman, and a Nepali national. Jubbal Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Rajiv Sankhayan, who arrived at the scene shortly after the accident, reported that there were five passengers on the bus at the time.

Two people died immediately at the scene, while the other two passed away in the hospital due to their injuries. The three injured passengers were also taken to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities are searching to ensure there are no additional passengers unaccounted for. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
