In a shocking incident, BJP leader Manoj Kalyane, a close aide of state minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, was shot dead in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore on Saturday late at night.
Two miscreants gunned down the BJP leader at the Chimanbagh crossing of the city. They added that two accused were identified and the reason behind the murder could be old rivalry. A manhunt has been launched to nab the accused.
In the aftermath of the incident, the BJP workers in large numbers crowded the MG Road police station, seeking justice and stringent action against the accused.
Kalyane, the Vice-President of BJP’s Youth Wing of Indore city, was close to the family of Kailash Vijayvargiya, including his son Akash Vijayvargiya.
He used to execute party-related works in the Indore-3 Assembly constituency, under the instructions of BJP MLA Golu Shukla. The officials said, ‘An investigation into the matter is underway’.
