The Supreme Court has postponed the hearing on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s petition challenging the Delhi High Court’s decision to stay his bail. The High Court had put on hold the bail granted to Kejriwal by a trial court in the Delhi excise policy case.

During the initial hearing, Senior Advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, representing Kejriwal, questioned the High Court’s decision to stay the bail. Singhvi argued that Kejriwal should be allowed to remain free until the High Court delivers its final ruling. He emphasized that Kejriwal is not a flight risk and has a bail order in his favor.
The Supreme Court has now scheduled the next hearing in this matter for June 26.
