Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport witnessed scenes on Monday as passengers lost their cool after their flight got delayed by over two hours.
Visuals from Mumbai airport have also been doing rounds on social media where passengers could be seen venting out their anger. Is reports are to be believed, the flight was scheduled to take off at 11:30 AM but could not depart by 1:00 PM.
Air India has attributed the delay to a technical issue. The increasing incidents of flight delays have been an issue for passengers, who are forced to endure extreme heat and suffocating conditions despite substantial amounts for their tickets.
On June 19, passengers on SpiceJet flight SG 486 from Delhi to Darbhanga experienced significant discomfort due to a lack of air conditioning. Among the affected were several elderly passengers, many of whom faced breathing difficulties due to the suffocating conditions.
Frustrated passengers likened the experience to being hijacked, expressing confusion and distress over the situation.
