Israeli military claimed that they struck a site in southern Lebanon that used Hezbollah operatives on Sunday.
In one incident, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said that a Hezbollah member was seen entering a building in the town of Houla that was struck by an Israeli airstrike shortly after other operatives gathered.
‘A Hezbollah operative was spotted inside a build used by Hezbollah in Kafr Kila, which too was struck. Earlier, Iran-backed Hezbollah said it fired dozens of rockets on Thursday at a military base in northern Israel in retaliation for Israeli strikes on LebanonFears of an all-out war between Israel and Hezbollah have gone up in recent weeks amid intensifying threats between the two sides who trade regular cross-border fire since Hamas attacked Israel on October 7 that consequently sparked an all-out war in the Gaza Strip’, added the IDF in a separate attack.
Hamas ally Hezbollah said that in response to the enemy attacks that targeted the city of Nabatiyeh and village of Sohmor, its fighters bombed the main air and missile defence base of the (Israeli) northern area command with dozens of Katyusha rockets.
The Israeli military had said in a statement that approximately 35 launches were identified crossing from Lebanon.
