At the Kensington Oval in Barbados, Team India defeated South Africa by a margin of seven runs in the T20 World Cup 2024 final.
The squad was supposed to celebrate their historic victory with their Indian supporters, but due to Hurricane Beryl’s devastating impact on Barbados, they were forced to abandon their plans and find themselves stranded in the West Indies.
Hurricane Beryl’s path across the Caribbean Islands has caused it to be categorized as extremely dangerous.
Currently, it’s anticipated that Team India will return on Thursday morning in New Delhi. Due to Hurricane Beryl’s intensification into a Category 5 hurricane and the closure of Barbados airports and enterprises, the travel plans have been modified.
