According to sources familiar with the investigation, Rocky operated from Jharkhand’s Ranchi, where he managed a hotel. It was from here that he orchestrated the leak of the NEET-UG question papers, which were subsequently disseminated to various individuals involved in the scheme.
Rocky’s role extended beyond the leak itself, he allegedly facilitated the distribution of the leaked question papers to a contact named Chintu, who then printed and circulated them with answers to prospective NEET-UG candidates. In addition, Rocky arranged for individuals to solve the exams after obtaining the leaked papers, employing several MBBS students from Patna and Ranchi as solvers.
