Upcoming ODI World Cup Schedule
The BCCI, in collaboration with the International Cricket Council (ICC), is working on finalizing the updated schedule for the upcoming ODI World Cup. The tournament is set to begin on October 5.
One of the major matches, India vs. Pakistan, was initially scheduled for October 15. However, due to the start of the Navaratri festival, there were requests to reschedule this match. The BCCI has proposed moving the match to October 14, but the venue, Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, will remain unchanged.
Additionally, the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) has requested the BCCI to reschedule the Pakistan vs. England game, which is set to take place on November 12, as it coincides with the Kali Puja festival.
These changes are part of the ongoing efforts to ensure that the tournament runs smoothly while respecting cultural and religious events.
