#WayanadLandslide Rescuers Fight Against Time, But Signs of Life Deplete| Could Disaster Be Averted?
Kerala is currently battering with one of the worst-ever landslides that hit the southern Indian state on July 30, causing more than 310 deaths ever since. It has been four days since the landslide struck Wayanad, nonetheless, the rescuers are battling against time to save every last breath surviving under the rubble. However, there was mostly no luck as the rescue officials called off the further search at the spot, saying that it was quite certain “no live human beings were present beneath the debris”. What were once human settlements have turned into desolate, flattened mudfields with scattered rock boulders.
