India’s Day 11 In Paris Olympics: Neeraj Chopra, Jena Starts Campaign As Hockey Team Aims For Final Spot

Neeraj Chopra, will be in action today as the Indian javelin ace will be defending his gold medal against field athletes across the globe. Apart from Neeraj, rising star Kishore Kumar Jena will also be in action for the qualification event same as Chopra.

Neeraj Chopra, will be in action today as the Indian javelin ace will be defending his gold medal against field athletes across the globe. Apart from Neeraj, rising star Kishore Kumar Jena will also be in action for the qualification event same as Chopra.

India’s Javelin stars, Neeraj Chopra and Kishore Kumar Jena, will start their campaign on Day 11 of the Summer Olympics at the French Capital. Both the track and field athletes will feature in different groups and will be a part of the Men’s Javelin Throw Qualification Rounds.

Vinesh Phogat will also be in action in the Women’s Freestyle 50 KG Round of 16 match-up. The Indian hockey team, captained by Harmanpreet Singh, will be the centre of attraction and they have a goal of winning the semi-final against Germany late in the day in order to secure a medal and also get a spot in the finals.

1:30 PM IST – Table Tennis: Men’s Team Round of 16 – Harmeet Desai, Manav Vikash Thakkar and Sharath Kamal

1:50 PM IST – Athletics: Men’s Javelin Throw Qualification Group A – Kishore Kumar Jenna

2:50 PM IST – Athletics: Women’s 400 metre (Repechage Round) – Kiran Pahal

3:00 PM IST – Wrestling: Women’s Freestyle 50 KG Round of 16 – Vinesh Phogat

3:20 PM IST – Athletics: Men’s Javelin Throw Qualification Group B – Neeraj Chopra

10:30 PM IST – Hockey: India vs Germany – Men’s Semi Final – Hockey Team
