The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has expressed concern about the incidents of violence against Hindus, Buddhists and other minority communities in Bangladesh.
RSS Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosable said, ‘cruelty like targeted killings, looting, arson and crimes against women belonging to Hindu and other religious minorities and attacks on Hindu Mandirs in Bangladesh are intolerable’.
He further said, ‘We expect the interim Government of Bangladesh to atke strict action to immediately stop such incidents. Also, the Government must make proper arrangements to protect the lives, property, and honour of the victims’.
He also requested the world community and other political leaders in Bhaart to stand in solidarity with the communities like Hindu, Buddhist etc.
RSS has also requested the Union Government of India to make possible efforts for the safety of Hindus, Buddhists, etc in Bangladesh. He said, ‘As a friendly neighbour, the Government of Bharat is trying to play an able role in this situation in Bangladesh’.
Meanwhile, after Jalpaiguri, people in large number of Bangladesh nationals gathered around the IB in Coochbehar district of West Bengal trying to enter the Indian territory. BSF prevented them from entering and tightened the security while keeping a close watch on the fence.
Earlier on August 6, Alok Kumar, International President of Vishva Hindu Parishad, said that our neighbor Bangladesh is trapped in violence and anarchy.
