Giving a big relief to the farmers of the state, the Haryana government has issued a bonus of two thousand rupees per acre to them. In this regard, the government had recently taken a decision in the cabinet meeting. The first installment has been issued to five lakh 20 thousand farmers.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini said while talking to journalists in Chandigarh on Friday that this time there has been less rain in the state. Due to this, the farmers have suffered a lot.
In view of this, the government had decided to give a bonus at the rate of two thousand rupees per acre in the recent cabinet meeting. In this item, today Rs 525 crore has been deposited in the accounts of five lakh 20 thousand farmers at the rate of two thousand rupees per acre. Within the next one to two days, this money will reach the farmers’ account.
Giving a big relief to the animal breeders, the Chief Minister said that veterinary polyclinics are being operated in 14 districts of the state. Now there are remaining 8 districts of the state, these veterinary polyclinics will also be opened in them. These will have all the modern facilities. It will have facilities like X-ray, ultrasound. The eight districts in which veterinary polyclinics will be opened include Panchkula, Kaithal, Karnal, Hisar, Jhajjar, Gurugram, Faridabad, Yamunanagar.
Giving a big relief to milk producers and milk sellers, the CM said that the government will insure the milkmen who supply milk to the houses. All milk distributors (milkmen) will be covered under the Pradhan Mantri Bima Yojana. He said that such milk sellers of the state whose annual income is 3.20 lakhs will be included under the Dayalu Yojana of the state. Under this scheme, financial assistance will be given in case of death or permanent disability of any member of the family.
