Assam Police Arrests Ali Hussain Who Helped Sixteen Bangladeshi Cross The Border

Ali Hussain was arrested by Assam police in the South Salmara Mankachar area as part of an operation against illegal infiltration from Bangladesh.

Hussain is charged for arrangements of unauthorised entry of citizens of Bangladesh into Assam. District police did a detailed probe that led them to inputs that Hussain had facilitated the illegal transit of intruders through the char regions.

Hussain was arrested. ‘Hussain helped the intruders on their unauthorised entry into Indian territory by giving them refuge and advice’ claim authorities.

Ali Hussain is being questioned to determine the complete chance of his network and locate nay other collaborators in the operation. It follows another notable arrest made by Dhubri police on August 19 night near Dhubri town.

Lipi Akhtar, the woman was taken into custody. Lipi accepted that she had entered Assam illegally with Hussain’s help and paid him 2,500 Bangladeshi taka for his assistance.

She admitted to being a member of a bigger gang involved in this illegal movement and confessed to travelling to Assam. As per the authorities, raids in three locations in Tripura on August 18 resulted in the arrest of fourteen intruders Bangladesh and five facilitators from India.

On Sunday night in the late hours at Sidhai Police Station, the Tripura Police nabbed over seven transgender Bangladeshi nationals which is part of West District. On Monday, three citizens were arrested in a different operation from the vicinity of the MBB Airport in West Tripura.
