The membership drive of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will start from September 2. On Tuesday, in a press conference held at the BJP headquarters, party general secretary Vinod Tawde said that we are starting the membership drive from September 2.
All existing members will have to re-join the party. The Prime Minister will be given membership by the party president on September 2. He said that according to the BJP constitution, everyone is made a new member every 5-6 years.
The membership organisation festival will start from September 2, in which everyone will have to re-join the party. The national president will make Prime Minister Narendra Modi the first member and after that membership will start across the country. Notably, this membership drive will be launched at the party’s central office expansion at 5 pm on September 2.
He said that till 2014, the Communist Party of China was the world’s largest political party, but when the BJP had 11 crore members, it became the world’s largest political party.
Workers will be given training for the membership drive at all booths on August 31. He said that to become a member of BJP, one can make a missed call on 8800002024. Along with this, one can also become a member of BJP through Namo app and website.
He told that the first phase of the membership campaign starting from 2 September will be completed by 25 September. After analyzing the membership of the first phase, the second phase of the membership campaign will run from 1 October to 15 October.
