On Tuesday Donald Trump said that an agreement has been reached to have a closed microphone at the September 10 presidential debate against Democratic candidate Kamala Harris. But no confirmation was given by the Harris campaign.
This comes as the Republican presidential candidate earlier threatened to pull out entirely from the debate suggesting that the ABC network was biased after a clash between the two election campaigns.
Donald Trump said that the rules for the coming debate will be the same as those of CNN, where he clashed with Joe Biden. ‘The rules will be the same as the last CNN debate, which seemed to work out well for everyone except, possibly, Crooked Joe Biden. The debate will be stand up and candidates cannot bring notes or cheat sheets. We have also been given assurance by ABC that this will be in a fair and equitable debate and that neither side will be given the questions in advance’.
He added that a third debate has not been agreed upon by the Radical Left, saying, ‘Harris would not agree to the FoxNews debate on September 4th, but that date will be held open in case she changes her mind or Flip Flops as she has done on every single one of her long-held and cherished policy beliefs. A possible third debate, which would go to NBC FAKE NEWS, has not been agreed to by the Radical Left. GOD BLESS AMERICA!’
Meanwhile, Harris’s campaign said that it wanted the broadcaster to keep the candidates microphones on throughout the debate. The hot mics can help the political sentiments of the candidates and also catch offhand comments that were not meant for the public.
