Pandit Kishan Maharaj, born on September 3, 1923, was a renowned Indian tabla player from the Banaras Gharana of Hindustani classical music. Maharaj performed extensively in India and abroad, earning acclaim and numerous awards, including the Sangeet Natak Akla ademi Award.
