On Thursday, Singapore and India signed a Memorandum of Understanding, agreeing to increase trade relations. During this, these were exchanged between the representatives of both the countries. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived on an official visit to Singapore, shared this information on his X handle a short while ago today.
Prime Minister Modi wrote, “Discussions with my friend Prime Minister Lawrence Wong continued today as well. Our talks focused on increasing cooperation in skills, technology, health care, AI and other areas. We both agreed on the need to promote trade relations. He wrote in another post, “I thank you for the warm welcome. This is our first meeting after you assumed the post of Prime Minister.”

Prime Minister Modi wrote, “Many congratulations to you from my side. I am confident that Singapore will progress even faster under the leadership of 4G. Singapore is not just a country. Singapore is an inspiration for every developing country. We also want to create many Singapores in India. I am happy that we are working together in this direction. The ministerial round table meeting that took place between us is a path breaking arrangement.
Meanwhile, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between India and Singapore in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong. Prime Minister Modi along with Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong visited the semiconductor facility of AEM Holdings Limited.
