On Friday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah released BJP ‘s manifesto for the upcoming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. The manifesto was launched in the presence of party’s Jammu & Kashmir chief Ravinder Raina and other party leaders. Releasing the manifesto, Amit Shah said, ‘Since Independence, Jammu & Kashmir has been significant for our party and we have always tried to keep this land intact with India. Different state and non-state actors kept the state unstable. All the government dealt with the state with a policy of appeasement. Whenever the history of Jammu & Kashmir will be written, these ten years after 2014 will be marked as a golden period for the state.”
