On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 74 and got birthday wishes. BJP colleagues as well as Opposition party leaders extended birthday wishes for the prime minister. President Droupadi Murmu greeted PM Modi and wished for his good health.

“Hearty congratulations and best wishes to Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji on his birthday. On the strength of your personality and work, you have provided extraordinary leadership and increased the prosperity and prestige of the country. I wish that your innovative efforts with the spirit of nation first pave the way to make India a developed nation. I pray to God that you live long and always remain healthy and happy,” the President wrote in an X post.

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh wishes PM Modi his 74th birthday and hailed his “visionary and strong leadership”. “Many congratulations and best wishes to the successful Prime Minister of India, Mr @narendramodi on his birthday. Not only India but the whole world has seen and experienced his visionary and strong leadership. Modiji has led the country with full readiness, concentration and asceticism and is still doing so,” Singh wrote in an X post.

“Respected Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, I wish you a very happy birthday. May you remain healthy and long-lived and under your leadership, fear, hunger, terror and corruption be completely eradicated from the country and our India regains the position of world leader, this is my best wishes,” Union Minister Nitin Gadkari posted on X. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also extended birthday greetings to PM Modi and said, “My birthday wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I wish him good health and long life.”

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to fulfill another promise as he prepares to launch the Subhadra Yojana in Bhubaneswar on his birthday. The scheme, announced in the BJP’s Sankalp Patra aims, to empower women in Odisha by providing them with financial assistance. Under this initiative, women between the ages of 21 and 60 will receive a sum of Rs 50,000, with the first installment being released by the Prime Minister at Janata Maidan on Tuesday.
