A 3-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by Qasim Rehman, an IT expert, inside the school premises in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Notably, the incident was discovered after the victim’s mother found several injury marks on the minor girl’s private parts. The mother filed a complaint with the school administration after the discovery of injury marks.
However, the school principal, disproved any complaints made to the administration. The principal said, ‘We had no information about the rape case. We came to know through the police that an FIR has been filed against one of our school workers Qasim Rehman, who looks IT department’, according to the media reports. The accused, Qasim Rehman, has been arrested, and the case has been filed under the POSCO Act.
School Education Minister Udai Pratap Singh condemned the incident, saying, ‘This is concerning, and there is an urgent need to start a campaign to raise awareness against such incidents’. He further added, ‘The law is taking strict action in this case, and firm measures will be taken’. Singh emphasized that the department is taking the incident in a Bhopal school very seriously. He said, ‘As the Education Minister, I am fully aware of the situation’. Bhopal Police Commissioner Hari Narayan Chari confirmed the incident involving a 3-year-old girl and an IT expert at the school.
Recently a horrific case of gang rape of a minor Dalit girl has come to light from Uttar Pradesh’s Gonda district. Notably, the victim’s mother has filed a complaint against two accused Mohammad Arif and Mohammad Rizwan.
According to the media reports, the duo took the Dalit minor girl inside a car on the pretext of giving her a mobile phone. Then they took her to an isolated place where they gang-raped her in the moving car. However, the accused ran away when the car collided with an electric pole. The Police have arrested both the accused.
