The permanent committees of Parliament were constituted two days ago. Out of these, a permanent committee has been constituted on matters of communication and information technology. BJP MP Kangana Ranaut is included as a member in this committee constituted on communication and information technology, who is known for her outspoken statements.
SP Rajya Sabha MP Jaya Bachchan has also been given a place in the committee. In the last session of Parliament, Jaya Bachchan had a sharp altercation with Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankar and members of the ruling party.
Famous musician and Rajya Sabha MP Ilaiyaraaja is also a part of this committee. At the same time, one name of this committee which is being discussed the most is MP Mahua Moitra. The fight between Mahua Moitra and Nishikant Dubey is not hidden from anyone. Last year, the Godda MP had accused Mahua Moitra in Parliament that she had taken bribe from an industrialist Darshan Hiranandani to ask questions.
He also demanded an investigation against her. This matter also went to the Delhi High Court where Mahua Moitra had filed a petition saying that Supreme Court lawyers Jai Anant Dehadrai and Nishikant Dubey should be prevented from posting any post on social media or uploading any material related to the case on the Internet, but the Delhi High Court rejected her petition.
Mahua Moitra was expelled from the Lok Sabha after being found guilty in the ‘cash for query’ case in December last year. However, in the Lok Sabha elections held this year, Mahua Moitra has again reached the Lok Sabha by winning from Krishnanagar.
