Advanced Weapons and Equipment India Limited Company (AWEIL), a PSU located in Kanpur city of Aatmanirbhar Bharat, has received an order of Rs 10 thousand crore. The company has also filled a tender of Rs 20 thousand crore which is expected to be passed soon. That is, now Kanpuriya weapons are going to dominate the defense markets of the world. On the occasion of the third foundation day of AWEIL, CMD Rajesh Chaudhary said that in the year 2021, the company had an order of 4600 crores.
Now in three years it has become ten thousand crores. The company is getting orders from Europe, North America, Middle East America and Africa. Among the orders received by the Kanpur company, there is the highest demand for small and medium caliber weapons. Apart from this, there are orders for parts of artillery guns, ammunition hardware, repair of artillery guns.
Company director AK Maurya said that the demand for ABN AK 203 carbine is very high. It will be so small that it can be easily hidden in clothes. All the tenders are being completed and prepared to be sent quickly so that the next order can be received soon.
