On Saturday Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini expressed confidence in BJP’s victory and stated that Lotus will bloom for the third time in the state. Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini said, ‘The wind is in BJP’s favour, BJP government is being formed for the third time in Haryana and lotus will bloom in Ladwa with a big margin’.
Saini remarked on Congress’s claim that they would surpass 70 seats, ‘No one can stop Congress from dreaming. They also dreamed in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, but they should reflect on their work and recognize how they have become an obstacle to development. The people of the state are aware of how they have insulted Dalits’.
Earlier in the day, hitting out at the Congress party, Saini said that the promises made by the party were not concrete’. He said, ‘I want to appeal to the people of Haryana to cast 100% votes. Under the leadership of PM Modi, we will work to develop Haryana, just the way we have done in the last 10 years. I want to say to the people of the state that you cast your votes and PM Modi and we will guarantee the development of the state’.
Nayab Singh further added, ‘The promises of Congress are not concrete. They have lost the support of the people. Congress intention is clear that they want to finish reservations. They are anti-reservation and anti-poor’.
22.70% voting has been done till 11 am and 9.53% voting took place in Haryana Assembly elections till 9 AM. Palwal recorded the highest voting percentage of 27.94%, followed by Jind with 27.20% and Mewat with 25.65%. Panchkula recorded the lowest voting percentage of 13.46%. The festival of democracy is being celebrated with great pomp in Haryana as voters are standing in queues to cast their votes. The voting process is going on continuously as a total of 1031 candidates are in the fray in 90 assembly constituencies of the state. Among them, 464 independent candidates are also contesting.
