BJP scored a hat-trick in Haryana, surprising all election analysts. BJP has won 48 seats and Congress, could only get 37 seats. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has so far secured 34 assembly seats in Haryana. CM Naib Singh Saini also reacted to the win of BJP. He said that I want to thank the 2.80 crore people of Haryana for approving the work of BJP for the third time.
He further added, ‘All this is only because of PM Modi and we are moving forward under his leadership. He talked to me and gave his blessings. I was confident that the poor, farmers and youth of Haryana will bless me.’
Apart from CM Saini, former Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has also given the credit of this victory of BJP to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the public has rejected the words of Congress. Voting was held on 90 assembly seats of Haryana. Votes were cast on 90 seats of the state on October 5.
However, the Haryana voting concludes at 6pm with 61 % voting. The voting process started at 8 am with 1031 candidates in the fray in 90 assembly constituencies of the state. Among them, 464 independent candidates contested. All eyes are on the exit poll productions.
61% voting has been done till 5 pm, 49.13% voting has been done till 3 pm, 36.69 % voting has been done till 1 PM, 22.70% voting has been done till 11 am and 9.53% voting took place in Haryana Assembly elections till 9 AM. Palwal recorded the highest voting percentage of 27.94%, followed by Jind with 27.20% and Mewat with 25.65%. Panchkula recorded the lowest voting percentage of 13.46%. The festival of democracy is being celebrated with great pomp in Haryana as voters are standing in queues to cast their votes. The voting process is going on continuously as a total of 1031 candidates are in the fray in 90 assembly constituencies of the state. Among them, 464 independent candidates are also contesting.
