UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was once again seen strengthening his deep respect for the mother power and his initiative to establish her as a form of power in the society. In the Kanya Poojan Anushthan organized at Gorakhnath temple on the ninth day of Sharadiya Navratri, CM Yogi washed the feet of nine Durga Swaroopa girls, worshipped them according to the rituals, covered them with a dupatta, performed aarti, fed them with devotion, took their blessings by giving dakshina and gifts.
The Chief Minister also performed Batuk Poojan while following the tradition. Gorakshapeethadhiswar Yogi Adityanath washed the feet of all the nine girls one by one with water in a brass plate traditionally on the first floor of his residential complex located in the temple.
He applied tilak of roli, sandalwood, curd, akshat and oats grown on the altar of Shaktipeeth on their foreheads. He took blessings by garlanding them, covering them with a dupatta, giving them gifts and dakshina. After the worship, the Chief Minister served these girls food prasad cooked in the kitchen of the temple with his own hands.
Apart from these nine girls, a large number of girls and boys who had come were also fed with devotion after the worship and were given gifts and dakshina. The happiness of the little girls and boys was worth seeing after getting the love and affection of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. With a sense of respect and affection, the Chief Minister washed the feet of nine girls and Batuk Bhairav one by one and worshipped them.
During this, all the girls looked very happy after receiving dakshina from Chief Minister Yogi. While serving food after the worship, the CM also kept communicating continuously. He also kept in mind that there should be no shortage of prasad in the plate of any boy or girl. He kept instructing the people associated with the management of the temple.
During the worship, the head priest of Gorakhnath temple Yogi Kamalnath, Mahamandaleshwar Santosh Das alias Satua Baba who came from Kashi, Dwarika Tiwari, Virendra Singh, Durgesh Bajaj, Amit Singh Monu, Vinay Gautam etc. were present. Earlier, in the morning worship session, CM Yogi worshipped Maa Siddhidatri in the Shaktipeeth of the temple with due rituals.
