Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate the newly constructed airport in Rewa on 21 October. Union Ministers and State Government Ministers including Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will also be present at the inauguration program in Rewa.
This information was given by Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla in a review meeting of the preparations for the inauguration program late Friday evening. He said that Rewa Airport is a big achievement for Vindhya. Rewa Airport will prove to be a big step for the development of Vindhya.
72 seater aircraft landing facility will be available in Rewa. This will promote tourism in the entire region. Along with this, the development of medical, engineering, education, trade and industries will accelerate. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Shukla gave necessary instructions to the officials.
He informed that the main function will be organized in Rewa Airport premises. On this occasion, he visited the inauguration program site and took stock of the preparations for the inauguration. Deputy Chief Minister Shukla said that all preparations for the inauguration ceremony should be completed within the stipulated time frame. On this occasion, Commissioner BS Jamod, IG Mahendra Singh Sikarwar, DIG Saket Pandey, Collector Mrs. Pratibha Pal, Superintendent of Police Vivek Singh, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dr. Saurabh Sonawane, Additional Collector Mrs. Sapna Tripathi and other officers were present.
