Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024: BJP Releases Third List, Announces Names Of 25 Candidates

Bharatiya Janata Party has released its third list of candidates for Maharashtra Assembly elections. BJP has announced the names of 25 candidates in this list. BJP has approved the names of 146 candidates so far.

Along with this, BJP has given ticket to Santuk Marotrao Hambarde for the by-election to be held on Nanded Lok Sabha seat. BJP has nominated Sudhakar Kohle from Nagpur-West Assembly seat of Maharashtra and Milind Pandurang Mane from Nagpur-North seat.

Sanjay Upadhyay has been given ticket in place of sitting MLA Sunil Rane from Borivali. Harish Marotiappa Pimpale from Murtijapur, Sai Prakash Dahake from Karanja, Rajesh Shriram Wankhede from Teosa and Umesh from Morshi have been fielded. At the same time, the party has declared Sumit Kishore Wankhade from Arvi assembly seat, Charansingh Babulalji Thakur from Katol, Ashish Ranjit Deshmukh from Sawaner, Praveen Prabhakarao Datke from Nagpur Central, Sudhakar Vitthalrao Kohle from Nagpur West as candidates.

Talking about the parties of the Mahayuti alliance, all together have fielded candidates on 260 seats out of 288 seats. The Mahayuti alliance includes BJP, Shiv Sena, Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar’s NCP. Shiv Sena has fielded candidates on 65 seats and Ajit Pawar has fielded candidates on 49 seats so far. Voting for the by-elections of all 288 assembly seats of Maharashtra and Nanded Lok Sabha seat will be held on November 20 and the results will be declared on November 23.
