On Sunday and a day earlier, ten prominent hotels in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow received bomb threat emails, a fresh bomb threat email has been sent to the city’s Taj hotel today. Lucknow’s Taj hotel has received a bomb threat email today; this comes following a day after ten hotels in Lucknow had received a similar threat email. Many agencies are investigating the case and the central agencies are attempting to find the origin of the mail.
At least ten big hotels in the Uttar Pradesh capital received a bomb threat on Sunday and a ransom amount was also demanded. The complete list of hotels that have received a bomb threat email –

A ransom amount was demanded in the bomb threat email or else it was threatened that ‘bombs will explode’. The email read, ‘Bombs are hidden in black bags on the grounds of your hotel. I want $55,000, or I will detonate the explosives and blood will spread everywhere. Any attempt at defusing the bombs WILL detonate them’.
In another news, the Iskcon temple in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati received a bomb threat late on Sunday night, following which the security of the temple was beefed up. This is latest in the series of bomb threats and comes a day following a Bengaluru-Ayodhya flight and several Lucknow hotels received bomb threats, triggering panic and extensive searches.
The staff of the temple informed the police that the ISKCON temple in Tirupati received a threatening mail to blow it up with bombs. Police conducted inspections with bomb squad and dog squad in temple premises. According to the media reports, citing police, the mail stated that ISIS terrorists would blow up the temple. During searches, however, no explosives or any suspicious items were recovered.
