Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute appointment letters to more than 51,000 selected candidates through video conferencing at the Rojgar Mela today at 10:30 am. The Prime Minister will also address the Rojgar Mela.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has also shared the details of the program on the X handle. According to the media reports, the employment fair reflects the Prime Minister’s commitment to prioritize employment generation.
It will empower the youth by providing them meaningful opportunities to contribute to nation building. Employment fairs will be organized at 40 places across the country. New employees in the fairs will join various ministries and departments of the Central Government, such as the Department of Revenue, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, etc.
The release said that the new recruits will get an opportunity to receive basic training through the online module Karmayogi Prarambh available on the IGOT Karmayogi portal. More than 1400 e-learning courses are available on the iGOT Karmayogi portal that will equip the new recruits with the required skills to perform their role effectively and work towards building a developed India.
