Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given three big gifts to Madhya Pradesh on Dhanteras. Mandsaur, Neemuch and Seoni Medical Colleges have been inaugurated. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated the extension building at Bhopal AIIMS. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav had said that Madhya Pradesh is getting a new identity in the field of medicine. Prime Minister Modi will virtually inaugurate medical colleges in Neemuch, Mandsaur and Seoni on Tuesday. On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi will transfer Rs 1624 crore to the accounts of 81 lakh farmers of the state and will also distribute appointment letters to 512 Ayurveda medical officers.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that at the pace at which medical colleges are being started in the districts of the state, soon there will be a medical college in every district. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said through social media that there is an action plan to fill about 25 thousand posts in the next two years to improve the medical system in the state.
To promote medical tourism in the state, medical parks will be developed in an area of 200-250 acres, so that various super specialty services will be available to the general public at one place. An action plan has been prepared to strengthen health services by upgrading a total of 346 community centers in the state to FRU.
Special efforts are being made to prevent and protect against sickle cell anemia in the state. Sickle cell anemia is being tested in all tribal-dominated districts. He informed that under the PM Shri Air Ambulance Service, the state government has taken a sensitive initiative to provide timely treatment to extremely seriously ill and accident victims from remote areas of the state by airlifting them. Stretchers and paramedical staff have been arranged in the helicopter used in this service.
The decision to merge the Medical Education Department and the Public Health and Family Welfare Department has become an example of good governance and efficiency. More than 4 crore Ayushman cards have been distributed in the state so far under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
