Census is going to start in the country very soon as the government has started preparations for this. Home Minister Amit Shah has launched the Citizen Registration System i.e. CRS (Civil Registration System) app in the Census Bhawan.

Common people can also register birth and death from home. People will be relieved from visiting government offices and standing in long queues. It has been told on the official handle of Census India 2021 that any person will have to register related to birth or death on the app within 21 days and if someone is unable to register within 21 days, then they will have to pay a higher fee.

A fee of Rs 2 will have to be paid within 22 to 30 days and a late fee of Rs 5 will have to be paid from 31 days to 1 year. Along with this, a fee of Rs 10 will be charged for older certificates. Amit Shah said that now through this app, any citizen is allowed to register from any place at any time and in the official language of their state.

The Home Minister said that for the first time, the National Population Register (NPR) is going to be made. This will improve the law and order of the country and will give a new path to the development of the country. The opposition parties are constantly demanding caste census but the government has not yet given information about how the census will be done and what will be the format.
