Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished the entire countrymen a Happy Diwali, the festival of victory of light over darkness. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar also congratulated the people on the eve of Diwali. Apart from this, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has also wished the people a Happy Diwali.
Prime Minister Modi wrote on X, “Many best wishes to the countrymen on Diwali. On this divine festival of lights, I wish everyone a healthy, happy and fortunate life. May everyone be blessed with the blessings of Maa Lakshmi and Lord Shri Ganesh.”
BJP also said on the X handle that heartiest wishes to all the countrymen on the holy festival of Diwali. In a press release issued by the Press and Information Office of the Government of India on the eve of Deepotsav, Vice President Dhankhar said, “On this auspicious occasion of Diwali, I send my heartfelt best wishes and affectionate greetings to all the citizens of India. This festival gives us the message of policy and dedication, which constantly inspires us to perform our duties with honesty. Let us light the lamp of faith on this Diwali and pave the way for India’s unity, prosperity and unlimited progress.
” Before wishing the festival of lights, Prime Minister Modi wrote in an X post on the aura of the divine and grand Ayodhya at night, “This is the first Diwali after Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram was enthroned in his grand temple. This unique beauty of Shri Ram Lala’s temple in Ayodhya is going to overwhelm everyone. After 500 years, this holy moment has come after countless sacrifices and continuous sacrifice and penance of Ram devotees. We are fortunate that we all have become witnesses to this historic occasion. I believe that the life of Lord Shri Ram and his ideals will continue to be an inspiration for the countrymen in the accomplishment of the resolution of a developed India. Jai Siya Ram!
